 AWARDS

FIRST, SECOND and THIRD PLACE cash awards will be given in each of the three instrument divisions (piano, strings, winds/brass), contingent on the judges' decision as follows:

First Place $750
Second Place $400
Third Place $200

FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD PLACE winners receive cash awards at the conclusion of the Grand Prize Final Round.

GRAND PRIZE WINNER

One Grand Prize winner will be selected from the three First Place winners. Two symphony performances will be awarded as follows:

Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, Maestro Marcelo Bussiki, conductor, Family Concert in the 2013-2014 season, Rudder Auditorium, College Station, Texas.

East Texas Symphony Orchestra, in the 2013-2014 season.

In addition, the winner will perform his or her concerto with piano accompanist for the 2012 TASO Conference, Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas.

FIRST PLACE WINNERS
 

The two students who achieve First Place in each of the other two divisions, but are not the Grand Prize winner, will perform their concerto with piano accompanist for the 2012 TASO Conference, Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas.

Winds/Brass Division - Timothy Roberts, Shenandoah Conservatory

JUDGES' DECISIONS ARE FINAL! To avoid potential familiarity with any contestant, all judges are from out of state.
